André G. Duchette is a Lewiston, Maine native and concentrates his practice in the areas of residential and commercial transactions, business law, landlord / tenant disputes, wills, trusts and probate matters, and civil litigation.  Mr. Duchette is admitted to practice in both Maine and Federal Courts.  Before joining Taylor, McCormack & Frame, LLC, Mr. Duchette worked for a law firm in Lewiston, Maine, where he successfully represented commercial landlords in a variety of matters, handled both simple and complex probate matters including will contests, and handled a variety of collection matters for various companies.  Mr. Duchette has conducted a seminar for the Board of Maine Funeral Directors on “Custody and Control of Human Remains” and has spoken at Collection Law Seminars.  Mr. Duchette also served as advisory counsel to Maine Senate President Beth Edmonds during the end of the 123rd Legislative Session.

Mr. Duchette obtained his B.A. in Psychology from Middlebury College and earned his law degree from the University of Maine School of Law, where he served as President of the Student Bar Association.  Before law school, Mr. Duchette worked as a crisis counselor in Portland, Maine and worked extensively with children and adults with mental and physical disabilities.  Mr. Duchette is on the Board of Directors for Pathways, Inc. in Auburn, Maine.  He serves on the campaign cabinet committee for the Androscoggin County United Way, and volunteers for Maine Handicapped Skiing.

Mr. Duchette resides in Brunswick, Maine with his wife Nicole and two daughters, Madelyn and Eleanor.  He enjoys skiing, golfing, backpacking, and playing the guitar.
